Representatives meet 4 or 5 times annually to arrange a programme of shared events.

January:         Week of prayer for Christian Unity. Weekday lunchtime services in member churches.                                  United Service on the final Sunday.

Feb/March:    Pre-Lent Service and Lenten study groups.

March:               Women’s World Day of Prayer.

April:               Palm Sunday seasonal music with joint choirs eg Stainer’s ‘Crucifixion’, Maunder’s                                       ’Olivet to Calvary’, Handel’s ’Messiah’ (excerpts). Good Friday Walk of Witness. 

May:                Christian Aid Week. House to house collection.

May/June:     Pentecost Picnic - Lindley Junior School field. Brass band, Bouncy Castle, Punch &                                      Judy, Games, Refreshments and more.

September:     Annual Forum and United Service. Recent Forum themes have included Kirklees                                         Refugees and Friends Together (KRAFT), Make Poverty History & Celtic Spirituality.

December:      Distribution of Christmas cards with church services. Carol Singing at Lindley Court                                    and HRI.

Throughout  Healing Services monthly at Lindley Evangelical Church. A time of intercessory prayer  the year           during which we use prayer requests from the Hope Chapel at HRI and use popular                                      prayer when all who attend can bring before God the needs of friends, neighbours and                                the community - Wednesday 12.30pm.
