St. Stephen’s is very fortunate in having a wonderful church organ built in 1912, complemented by our first class Organist and Choirmaster John Bailey. In addition to leading the congregation with our hymns each Sunday, John has given a number of very popular Organ Recitals which are definitely not to be missed. Keep checking the ‘Diary’ page for details of the next one. |

The choir at St. Stephen’s has traditionally been one of the most professional and well supported groups within the church, never more so than now with the extra joy of having a thriving Junior Choir. Both choirs rehearse on a regular basis under the guidance of John and Marguerita Bailey and in addition to joining the congregation each Sunday, they give that extra special something to many weddings and other special services held throughout the year. For more details about the choir, including the new group for 4-7 year olds— ’The Grasshoppers’, where children meet once a week for musical activities, please contact either John or Marguerita by e mail at info@ststephenslindley.org.uk. |

Another of St. Stephen’s dedicated musical groups, is its team of bell ringers, who, like the choristers, make Sunday mornings and weddings that much more joyful. The peal of 8 bells, first rung in 1874, are another feature of the parish that makes Lindley so special and anyone interested in finding out more about this very enjoyable pastime and/or in wanting to join the team should contact the Ringing Master Mr. David Smith by e mail at info@ststephenslindley.org.uk. |
